Vampire Academy Series- Richelle Mead

I'm not going to review every book I've ever read because that would take forever, but I will review a series as a whole before I review the latest book.

I love Vampire Academy so much it is on the same level as The Twilight Saga. Richelle Mead is an amazing writer and she makes the characters so relatable. The first book was Vampire Academy and I fell in love immediately. The main character Rose is a lot like myself and I found myself wishing that I was a vampire (I really do want to become one, so if you know any vampires please let me know). The plot had me turning pages all night. I was so addicted I went out and bought the next two the next day. Frostbite was my least favorite because of the ending and because I felt it wasn't as detailed and exciting as the first. Shadow Kiss is by far my favorite, favorite one! Call me a romantic but I love the excitement and romance! I'm sort of undecided about Blood Promise because I think it's romantic but I hate how Rose and Lissa are seperated. I think that being apart makes them closer and I like their new powers too. I also love the new characters in this book. I hope the spinoff series Richelle Mead is planning includes some of Dimitri's family.

Spirit Bound is already out but I don't have it yet so once I finish reading it (it won't take me long, don't worry) I will review it!

Overall, the dynamics of The Vampire Academy Series makes them all amazing reads. Anyone that like Twilight or vampires will love it!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner- Stephenie Meyer

I have to admit that even though I am a total Twilight nut I was sceptical when news of The Second Short Life of Bree Tanner came out. I was partially excited but I also wasn't sure if this would ruin Eclipse for me. I hate when additions to series ruin the whole story. So I am really pleased how this "novella" turned out. I could actually connect to Bree and her second life. Her story fit in perfectly with Eclipse and that's probably because Stephenie Meyer is such a genius. I hope she does more like this! Maybe something about the Volturi! A definite read for all Twilight fans and for anyone seeing the Eclipse movie.
